Mr. Gilberto Hernandez, 84, of Long Beach, CA, passed away February 12, 2016. He was born in San Miguel Petapa, Guatemala on February 4, 1932. He was a cook and caterer for the Mirelles Company for over 10 years. Gilberto's passions in life included fishing, spending time with his family, and enjoying good food. He is lovingly survived by his son: Francisco Hernandez; his daughters: Leticia Hernandez, Ana Cecilia Varela, and Beatriz Varela; his grandchildren: Erick, Nancy, Cris, Juan Carlos, Gilberto, Eugenia, Mitchell, Luz Manfred, Katherine, Wendy, Eli, and George; his great-grandchildren: Jacob, Briann, Dylan, Bella, Kathlyn, Camilla, Ethan, Giselle, Dominic, Diana, and Daisy; his brother: Francisco; his sisters: Juana and Gregoria.
