The last day... Helen, you are still with us in spirit! You are still missed - but we will see you and continue the great laughs in Eternity!

As I sit here remembering Helen and her many wonderful days here on earth I am moved to once again thank her for the many special memories that she is responsible for in my life.  I am so grateful that I met her and considered her my friend. Life without her is hard to grasp and it is just not the same.  MY thoughts are with you Mary Liz and Jim as you move on and deal with life as best you can.  I know that Helen is at peace and that her spirit is free to soar to Heaven.Love you all and miss you Helen.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I personally do not remember meeting her, but knew of your mom, from the stories that my grandfather "Jack" Lock would tell of Johnny & Helen. Grandpa Jack really enjoyed spending time and joking around with them.  I am sure they are all reunited and once again having a good time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Helen was a very special person - always caring and giving. Through the years, we had some very good memories. She will be missed, but enjoying her family in heaven now.

my mom and i lost a very special person in our life this past week on 
June 11,2013 at 11:59pm in the afternoon.
ON  June 11 2013 i lost my last surviving parent And then  had ups and downs and now its much harder being an only child. thank god for friend and family I love you mom and i miss you

on June 11 i lost my mom she and i had our ups and downs i knew it was coming but you are never ready the fact that i was an only child makes it hard,but thank god for my friends and family it does make it easier i will miss her a lot but i know she is with dad and family and friends,i love you mom and miss you  love your daughter

It is never easy to loose a family member.  Helen was a great mother, a wonderful grandma and a true friend to all that were around her.  It was nice to see Helen at Christmas for one last visit. Helen knows she was one of a kind.  Love you and miss you.  May she rest in peace with Johnny.

Sorry to hear of your beloved grama and mother's passing.  My trips to california were always made more memorable with a visit to the Loch  and Small home. Thanks to Helen and John's Christmas Dinners and card games we all have lots of happy memories to reflect on.  Helen was always so very kind and interested in many topics so it was easy to be her friend and talk to her when we visited.  Thanks again Helen for being so kind and generous to me and my family.

 We were so sorry to hear your Mother/Grandmother had passed away.  We are never ready to give them up even though we know they are in a better place.

 We have so many pleasant memories of our visits, along with Mother and Jack; what fun we all had! They always looked forward to coming before they returned to NE. 
May your memories sustain you in the days ahead as you adjust to life without her. You all are in our prayers.

Helen elizabeth Krauss loch  took us in when we didn't have a place to live when my real dad left us very young stage both of my grandparents gave us a place to live and food to eat on the table

I was privileged to serve Eucharist to Helen on the day she passed away. She was very much at peace with herself, only desiring to see Fr. Christopher again. I knew that God was preparing a place for Helen because Jesus' healing touch was upon her that morning; she was pain free and able to hear without her hearing aids. Fr. Chris Pham saw her after I left and she died peacefully after praying with him. 2 Corinthians 5:6 tells us “So we are always courageous, although we know that while we are at home in the body, we are away from the Lord”. Helen courageously met her Lord and maker on June 11, 2013.  “For we walk by faith, not by sight”.  Rest in Peace Helen.

What a wonderful human being your mother was -and still is as she watches over you from Heaven. Yes, I am sure she is there as she was so generous and loving while with us in this life. Dear Mary, Liz and Jim I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mum and grandmother.  I know that she is now pain free and in safe hands. I will miss talking to Helen as she was a wonderful person to debate with and although we did not always agree we always ended our conversation with a good laugh.
Helen was one of the most generous people I have ever met and I am so grateful for her friendship to me and my entire family..May the peace of the Lord that Helen loved so much be with you all today as you prepare to celebrate Helen's life.
