Jean C. Iverson

Helen Jean Iverson born in Scranton, North Dakota in 1918. She moved to California in the 1930s and met up with Paul Iverson, her husband for 62 years. Jean worked for the Long Beach Unified School District. She retired in 1980. Jean spent her "retirement" volunteering. She enjoyed women's groups at church, various bridge clubs and enjoyed reading the latest Danielle Steel novel. Jean is survived by a sister, Lois; two children, Chris and Paula (Jim); grandchildren, Jim (Jamei) and Chris; and great-grandchildren Thomas and Angelina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Orange County Care Connections at Grace Lutheran Church; or Orange Coast Memorial Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
