Josie Conboy (and Roy) were a constant presence during most of my childhood.  My mom and Josie were great friends, and bridge pals so we saw alot of her and Conboy family. I remember her being so sweet and warm and her husband Roy a crack up.  She meant so much to my mom I felt I had to write.  Donna (Lambe) Burns

Meeting Roy and Jo for the first time was huge pleasure, and knowing they were to be a part of Cindy's California life always gave me great relief.  We talked of so many things over our visits, and I always appreciated the honesty and concerns she shared.  I loved knowing that Alli had a Grandma and Grandpa  there who loved her sooo much it made the distance just a little bit easier.
Jo will be missed by all Conboys....but she will be missed by me as well.

The first time i remember meeting Mrs.Conboy was when i went to her house after me, my aunt and my cousin allison went to knotts berry farm i remember her being one the kindest people and made me feel so welcome unlike any other person even though i wasnt in California for that long she made a big impact on me because when i was in Chicago i heard stories about how nice she was and to me it showed me how much she meant to other people and to her family and to mine as well and to know that someone can mean that much gives me hope that there is good in the world. Mrs.conboy prooved that and i will never forget that

This was one classy lady, she always made you feel welcomed and loved.  Her love for family was second only to her love of God.  I will always remember Jo and Roy with fond memories of love and humor.  She and Roy are together again forever.  The Conboy Clan has another angel looking out for them.  And so do all who were lucky enough to have known them.  Rest in Peace and God Bless.

I grew up on the same block with the COnboys, I went to school with Mark since Tot Lots. My mom, Josie, Ruth Gallagher, Mrs. Ransen and Mrs. Jackson would have coffee once a week when we were little. All of our families grew up  going to St. Pancratius. Josie will be missed , at least now she can get up to Heaven and take care of Roy, ,  the abeyta family

My love goes out to the whole Conboy family. Jo always made me feel like one of the family. I'll always remember going on those Conboy family trips and asking Jo all kinds of crazy questions. She always listened so patiently and always had an answer. And I could never forget her amazing enchiladas and rice. I remember being so excited when she actually shared her rice recipe with me. She will always be in my heart.

My memories of your Mom are from Samoa.  She taught my Mom how to make tortillas from scratch, and my Mom had a heck of a time getting it right!!  But boy were they amazing when she did.  Thanks Mama Conboy!!  And now your parents and mine are sitting together having drinks and telling stories about our adventures in the tropics.  Hugs to you all and God bless you.
