Kathleen Worsey, 81, passed away March 22, 2012. Kathleen met Bill Worsey in 1951. Kathleen was working in London and Bill was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany during the Korean War. They met, fell in love, and when Bill discharged from the Army, he brought Kathleen to California, where they married in 1952. They have lived in Lakewood for 59 years. She kept her connection to her Irish roots by taking the entire family home to Ireland every few years to visit and all of the kids and grandkids are still connected to their Irish cousins and friends. Survived by her loving family; daughters, Mary (Jim) Lawson, Peggy (Guy) Vice; sons Tom Worsey "her loving caregiver" and Sean (JC) Worsey; sister, Peggy Keating; 7 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
