My thoughts and prayers to the Fuentes Family. Manuel was a very good Friend for many years. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I was honored when Manuel would invite me to one of his pool playing tournaments, we always had a good time. You were such a positive in my life, you will not be forgotten. RIP my Friend.

I am so sorry for your loss from the Dutchover  family. We grew up together living right across the street from them. I will always remember his mom fixing lunch for him and his policeman friends and his Mother always giving him the sign of the cross before he left back to work. You shall be in my prayers and thoughts.

Manuel was one my best friends and taught me so much as a police officer. He was loved by so many, even the bad guys highly respected him. He treated everyone with respect and dignity. The stories with this fine man are too numerous to mention. I pray for the family during these difficult times. Even though the years and circumstances have caused us to drift apart, I will never forget you my friend. There never was any doubt you always had my back.

Uncle Manuel was one of the most influential men in my life and will so miss him. Of all the times spent together I will always cherish the one on one time. Sorry for your loss Bernadette. Manuel from the little time him and I spent together I could tell that he was a great man, Father, and Husband. Very sorry for the loss of your loved one.  Worked with Manuel for over 25 years and he was a very good officer and person.   He could always be counted on and served the City of Odessa very well.  I too have eaten many great meals at his parents home.  He was a caring, loving person and I always enjoyed his excellent spirit.  He would give you the shirt off his back.

Manuel taught me so much. He was a very tough, effective, streetsmart patrolman and detective, but also funny and considerate of others. I loved the pool tournament parties he and Bernadette hosted at their house. So many good memories of a great man.

Manuel was my training officer when I started at OPD.  We had some good times together and I considered him one of my best friends.  When we were working day shift we would go over to his mom and dad's house to eat lunch and she would call me baby face.  He married Bernadette and she was a funny and good lady.  I will pray for her and her family.  Rest in Peace Manuel.
