Margaret Luella Edwards

Margaret Luella (Hermreck) Edwards was born in Garnett, Kansas on October 28, 1924. In 1942, she received a Teacher's Certificate from the State of Kansas. Her family moved to California shortly thereafter, where she met her husband, Willis L. Edwards. They had three children, David, Patricia and Diana, and resided in Lakewood, CA. During her career, Margaret worked for Arrowhead Products and GTE.

Margaret currently resided in Apple Valley, CA. She is survived by her sister, Donna Juista, her three children, David Douglas Edwards, Patricia Joan Johnson, and Diana Marie Nieva, Daughter-in-law Carol Najera, Son-in-law Jeffrey Johnson, Son-in-law George Nieva, Nine Grandchildren (John McDonald, David Edwards, Lisa Vesper, Nathan Edwards, Sean Varvello, Tiffany St. John, Jeff Varvello, Daniel Edwards and Samantha Edwards), nine great grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a member of the Apple Valley Senior Center where she donated her time on several committees. She attended Holy Family Church in Hesperia, CA and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Group. Margaret suffered a major stroke on February 1, 2013 and passed away on March 26, 2013.
