Mary Mace Stuart

Mary Mace Stuart was a gracious lady, a frugal child of the Great Depression, and a giver. She combined the lessons of her mother and father with her nursing training, to become a comforter of marines and sailors, her family and all those whom she contacted. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was 93.

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Charles Boring Stuart, on January 13, 2013. She is survived by her sister, Roberta Mace Bennett; children, Charles, Roberta, Mark, and William; grandchildren, Rebecca, Jennifer, Gordon, Caitlyn, and E.Ma; and great grandchildren; Ethan and Lauren.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 2 pm at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, 6201 E. Willow Street, Long Beach, CA.
