Pha Chhem

On November 16, 2024, at the age of 71, Pha Chhem Sok peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by the family she loved so much. Born on February 2nd, 1953, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Pha had a kind and joyful spirit that touched everyone she met.

Pha had a special way of making every moment meaningful. She delighted in the simple joys of life—playing card games, cooking delicious meals, and cherishing time with her friends, children, and grandchildren.

Her family was her everything. For 50 years, she shared her life with her devoted companion, Souen Sok. Their relationship was a beautiful example of love, partnership, and support. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, dreams, and memories that will last forever.

Her children and grandchildren were the true lights of her life. Pha is survived by her daughter Phann, her sons Ka, Khom, Khoeun, and Sao, and her eight beloved grandchildren: Lisa, Corey, Kaylee, Caitlyn, Kayla, Nathan, Kyle, and Samuel. They will carry on her legacy of love, strength, and kindness.

Although her passing leaves an emptiness that words can’t fully express, Pha’s love and the memories she created will live on in all of us. Her laughter, wisdom, and warmth will be forever cherished by those lucky enough to have known her.

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable woman who enriched the lives of so many. As we honor her life, we celebrate her joy, strength, and the love she so generously gave.
