Rebecca Virginia Voegeli

Rebecca V. Voegeli of Seal Beach, CA, passed away on June 15, 2012. She was born in Denver, Colorado, on June 1, 1923. Rebecca met her husband, Larry while working at Western Growers Trade Association in Los Angeles, CA. They married in 1951 at St. Basil's Church in Los Angeles. Together, they raised three children and were married for 46 years. Rebecca worked for Bank of America for many years. When she retired, she earned a certificate in stenography from Golden West City College, studied Spanish, and enjoyed bridge and golf.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband Larry and her brother Frank Rivers. She will be missed by her family: son and daughter-in-law Kurt and Diana Voegeli, daughters Roxanne Voegeli and Nancy Curran and son-in-law Tom Curran, and three grandchildren, Brett, Chris, and Bryan. Memorial services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Long Beach on Wednesday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to: Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
