Sherry Jean Lovato

Sherry Jean Lovato, widow of Edward Alfonso Lovato, passed away on Friday, September 10th in Torrance, CA at the age of 62. She was born March 11, 1948 in Hawthorne, CA and was a resident of Carson, CA for the past 36 years. Sherry was an employee of the City of Torrance and worked in the library system for 20 years. She had many hobbies and interests, but loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by sons, Edward Lovato and Johnny Lovato, daughter, Jennifer Lovato, daughters-in-law, Tina Lovato and Christina Lovato, grandchildren, Eddie, Tommy, and Johnny, Sister, Teri Nugent, and brother-in-law, Chuck Nugent. Memorial services will begin at 12pm on Saturday, September 18th at Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary, 5161 Arbor Road, Long Beach, CA 90808, 562-425-6401. Guests will be escorted to Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, CA for burial services.
