Mr. Velasquez passed gently in Long Beach California on Thursday January 26, 2017 with his family by his side. Born to Joe and Mary Velasquez January 18, 1948 in Boulder County Colorado, he moved with his family to the Los Angeles area at the age of five years. Most will remember Thomas as the "Chef". If you liked foods, and it little mattered what kind of food, Thomas would offer it up on a beautiful presentation, so he had developed these talents and became a chef in the Hospitality Industry where travelers from around the world could taste his cooking.
