Virginia Ruth “Ginger” Byrd, age 84, slipped her earthly bounds into our fathers waiting arms. She passed peacefully in her sleep on June 30th, 2021. Virginia was born to Thomas and Anne (Phillips) Scroghem in Nevada, MO, September 1, 1936. She is survived by sister Patricia Jean (Art), preceded in death by both of her brothers James Phillip, and Richard. Ginger loved to spend time with family and friends who all will greatly miss her. She is survived by three children; son Richard (Carolyn), daughter Carolyn, son Thomas (Ann Marie), five Grandchildren, Steven (Jenn), Shannon, Richard “Tyler”, Megan, Rileigh, Andrew and three great grandchildren Sierra, Summer and Tyler. Virginia is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The service will be July 19, 2021, 11am at Stricklin/Snively Mortuary,
