William (Bill) Russell of Long Beach, California, died peacefully in the arms of Jesus and his family at his side. Bill was a WWII veteran of U.S. Navy. He enjoyed surfing, traveling and being in the company of others. Bill outlived his first wife Harriett and his eldest son Jim. His sons Jerry and John, sister Patricia, grandchildren Wendy, Jimmy, Erin, Kelly and Kevin, great grandchildren Tyler and Jarod along with his wife Jeanne survive him. Bill will deeply be missed yet never forgotten.
