Anna Rose McDermeit Smith

Anna was born in Ringwood, Oklahoma January 9, 1929 to Elmer and Ida McDerrmeit, then moved to Colony, Kansas, then met and married her late husband Van, married August 19, 1947.

Anna was actively involved with her church, different groups and organizations, nursing, and most of all her family.She was a Mom to many, not just her own children, and had the ability to lift you up when you were down. She loved children, especially her grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her Husband Van and her Sons Daniel and Dale; Brothers Clifford and Elmer "JR".

Anna is survived by her Sister Leola Henderson; Daughter Kathy Lundquist and Son Van and Wife Michelle; Daughter in Laws, Patty and Terri; Grandchildren Chrystal and Husband John Bush, Daniel, Corrie and her Husband Andre Pinero, Scott Lundquist, Mica, Shaun and his Wife Paige Theriotsmith, and Kelley; Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie, Nathan, Cameron, Andre, Jadzia, and Mei.

A Memorial service will be held Graveside at 2:00 March 12, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home 5000 W. Harrison Rd. Longview, TX. In liew of flowers donations can be made to the National Heart and Stroke Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
