Barbara Anne Hiltzman Langston "Granny" , 81, passed away on 23, July, 2013 at Longview Regional Hospital in Longview, TX. Granny was born on April 15, 1932 in Tulsa, OK to Arthur and Marguerite Jones. Granny worked hard for both her physical family and spiritual family. She was a strong Christian woman who probably prayed for every man, woman, and child in Gregg County (and beyond) at least once. She greeted all those she met with a "holy" kiss layerd in acrylic pink or purple.
Granny married Bobby Hiltzman in 1953 and shared 45 years together. Granny was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Marguerite "Grand Maggie" Jones, and brother David Jones, and husband Robert Hiltzman "Pop". Granny is survived by her husband Jim Langston and extended family; children Mike Hiltzman, Cheri (Neil) Brazier, Karla (Eric) Sypert and her brother Clevie (Johnnie) Jones; her grandchildren Cheneil (Matthew) Torbert, Blake Brazier, Blane (Leslie) Brazier and Kala Sypert; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Tatum; and neices and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Church Hwy 135 in Liberty City, TX across from Southern hills golf course at 3 p.m. A visitation will be held at Lighthouse Church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow service at Lakview Cemetery in Longview, TX.
