Beatrice (Bea) Evans Cattaneo

Beatrice Evans Crawford Cattaneo, 94, formerly of Longview, TX passed away July 28, 2017 at a nursing home in DeKalb, TX. She was born May 26, 1923 in the Bowden Community near Delight, Arkansas to Fern Warren Evans and Thomas A. Evans.

Ms. Bea was a homemaker, caregiver to her Mother and to her husband, Bill. She was a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Longview since 1964 as well as a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 610.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Cattaneo; her parents, six siblings, and one daughter. She is survived by one son: Charles Crawford and his wife Dorothy of DeKalb, TX; two daughters: Wanda Jones and her husband Bud of Chandler, and Joan Robertson of Tyler; one step son: Dale Crawford and his wife Joann of Salem, OR; two step daughters: Marilyn Cattaneo and Ann Byrd and her husband Loren all of Daingerfield; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Bright and Jack Earp officiating. A time of sharing and visiting with the family will follow the services at the funeral home.
