Betty Faye Holmen

In 1983 she married the love of her life, Albert Holmen. Betty and Albert were members of First Lutheran Church of Longview. Betty was also a member of her church quilting club.

She retired from the United States Postal Service. Betty was proud of her grandchildren and loved bragging about them all.

Betty and Albert loved to spend their summers in Norway. Albert was from Norway and they met one another on an Norwegian Cruise line where Albert worked at the time.

Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her children; Hershal Boles Gage and Clarence Boles Gage .

She is survived by her husband, Albert; children, Dennis Gage (Mary), Liz Garner, and Tommy Gage (Debbie), siblings; Sarah Phillips, Sally Roberts, Mattie Tomllie and Bessie Willard; many grandchildren;

great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. A Celebration of Bettys Life will follow at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeffery Borgwardt officiating. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
