Billy John Stowe

Billy was born on September 13, 1948 to Vinney McMillen and John L. Stowe in Boswell,Oklahoma. He graduated from Boswell High School. Billy met and married Ruby and together they raised a family. He had a career as an Assembly Technician for General Motors where he dedicated many years until his retirement. When he wasn't working Billy's hobbies included fishing, enjoying a refreshing cold beer after a long day's work, but most of all, being the best grandpa.

Billy is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Stowe; his parents Vinney and John Stowe; his brothers; his sister and step children.

He is survived by his children Paula Stowe Castillo, Hazel Prudhome, Lonnie, Paul, Edward, Ricky, Rayder, Amburns, Martha, Nora, Judy K, Franklin Phillips, and Andrea King; grandchildren Maudie, Teriana, Cierra, Omariana, Omar, Anjelica Castillo, Suzy, Bobbie, Jason, Michael, Shawn, Shelby, and Steven; great-grandchildren Heidi, Sawyer, Terrence, Sadiegh, PJ, Daisy, JR, Shy, Cason, Landry, Skielar, and many more; siblings Linda Thomas and France Stowe; and best friend David Russell.

The family would like to give a special thanks to David Russell for being a best friend, Rebeka and Hazel for always being there in times of need, and Smoky, for being a great dog and companion.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24,2025 from 11:00 to 2:00 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at The Mausoleum of Memory Park Cemetery.
