Brian Kelly Halford

Brian was born May 13, 1978, in Flowood, Mississippi, to Clyde and Carolyn Halford. Brian graduated from Bossier City High School in 1996. He went on to serve his country in the Army-National Guard, serving a nine-month tour of duty in Afghanistan. Brian married Lily Delconcuelo on November 10, 2009, in Longview. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church, and the church was a very special place to him. Brian enjoyed taking care of his girls and his family. They went in September on a mission and family trip to Mexico, both of which were very special and important to him. He would read Bible verses to his daughters and send them verses by text. Brian was the operations manager for Impact Flooring here in Longview.

Brian is survived by his wife, Lily of Longview; daughters, Cassandra Kelly Halford of Bossier City, La. and Kelly Marie Halford of Longview; mother, Carolyn Halford of West Monroe, La.; brother, Jonathan Mark Halford and his wife, Jessica Nichol of Castor, La.; grandmother, Vernell Pittman McPherson of West Monroe, La.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hector and Maria Delacerda of Longview, Texas; and brother-in-law, Daniel Delacerda and his wife, Brooke, of Gilmer, Texas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, November 15, 2011, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. John Wallingford officiating.
