She was born on July 28, 1947 in Bremerhaven, Germany, to Clarence Holcomb and Margaret Emilene Fenton.
In her spare time, Cecelia enjoyed reading, attending Hill Toppers, Sunday school class and other social events of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. She also loved spending time thrift store shopping with her sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Hairston, her parents Clarence Holcomb and Margaret Stephensen, and her sisters Margaret Giles and Charlotte Hollis.
She is survived by daughters Kristen Carwile and daughter-in-law Kristy Carwile, and grandson Kaeden Carwile, daughter Alison Logan, son in law Sam Logan, and grandchildren Ashlee Logan, Karter Logan, Karsyn Logan, Ethan Thompson, and Jackson Logan, and great grandchildren Kaiston Logan and Kamdon Logan, and sisters Mary Dennison, Terri Allen, and Shirley Thornton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Heartsway Hospice of Northeast Texas.
