He was born on April 29, 1955 in Shreveport, LA to Marvin Wade Bass and Monel Bass. Dennis was raised in Longview, TX and graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1974. He married LeJuan Jones in 1989 and the couple had 3 children. He was a baker at Golden Flake Bakery where he worked for nearly 60 years. In his spare time, Dennis enjoyed fishing for catfish, baking, listening to the Beach Boys, singing, watching John Wayne, McLintock, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and serving in the church Nursery. His family and friends will always remember him as a serving person.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Bass, and son, Daniel Wade Bass.
He is survived by his: mother, Monel Bass; wife, LeJuan Bass; sister, Teri Bass; children, Christopher Bass, Alisha Vidaurri (Manuel), Amanda Brown (Nathan), and April Bonner (Austin); grandchildren, Madeline, Kaitlyn, Brianna, Aiden, Alexander, Abel, and Aryah; extended family.
