Dewey Kenneth Ellison

Dewey Kenneth Ellison, 72, of White Oak passed away on June 16, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born February 25, 1944 in Pasadena, Texas to Joseph Roy Ellison and Goldie Dorothy Russell Ellison. Mr. Ellison graduated from Tatum High School and married Elizabeth Kay Johnson August 27, 1967 in Longview. He worked for a number of manufacturing plants in the Longview area, retiring from Eubanks Manufacturing. He loved to go and watch White Oak sports. If there was a game playing, he wanted to be there. He also enjoyed working in his garden.

He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Ellison of White Oak; daughter: Sonya Rigano and her husband Hayward of Kilgore; grandchildren: Andrew Kenneth Stuckey of Egan, MN, and Trey Stuckey of Kilgore; brothers: Roy Ellison and his wife Barbara of Beckville, and Tommy Ellison and his wife Linda of Spring, TX; sisters: Elaine Deaton and her husband Bobby Joe of Tatum, and Wanda Jean Beal and her husband Brent of Keller, TX; sisters-in-law: Denise Ellison of Beckville and Carolyn Synoground and her husband Larry of Kilgore; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, son: Darren Ellison, brothers-Bobby Jack Ellison, Richard Ellison and Jim Ellison.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home. A gathering with his family will follow the services in the coffee room of the funeral home.
