Docha Daniels

Docha was born on October 14, 1934 in Overton, TX to J.D. and Grace Maxfield. She was raised in Overton, TX and married Doyle Daniels in 1968. Together, the couple had 1 child. While raising her daughter Danise, she was a housewife and later owned Wholesale Insulation with Doyle. In her spare time, Docha enjoyed playing the piano at church, Bridge and 42, going to Oasis, and spending time with family playing dominoes.

Docha is preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyle, son Charles Morton, son John Morton, step sons William Ray Daniels, and Doyle Daniels, Jr., and brother Oscar Maxfield.

She is survived by daughter, Docha Danise White (David), son William Morton (Lori), grandchildren Courtney Riddle, Kaytlin White, Chelsey Carroll (fiance Clinton Smith), Cheyanne Chidester (Benson), MaLisa Armijo (Arturo), Stephanie McDonald (Demetrius), Ignacio Perez (Karen), Shawnee Daniels, Doyle Curtis Daniels III, and Billy Daniels, and great-grandchildren Emily Riddle, Lucas Ralston, LillyMae Smith, Kristen Perez, Payton Perez, Xander Perez, and Piper Perez.

A service for Docha will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 10:30am at Simmons Hill Baptist Church, located at 4221 Simmons Rd., Diana, TX 75640, officiated by Bro. Pat Shannon.
