Harold Wayne Barnett, known as "Fuzzy" or "Professor," passed away Friday, March 22, 2013. He was born August 1, 1938 in Longview, Texas, and lived there throughout his life. Harold was a master electrician and worked for Crook Electric for many years. He was very knowledgeable about so many things, that his friends and family knew he was the one to call for answers to their technical problems. In his earlier years, he owned a television repair shop, and he was in the National Guard and Longview Jaycees.
Harold is survived by his sister, Jenendel Barnett Robinson; children, William Barnett, Laura Lyon, Sheryl Baird and Pamela Fitzgerald; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Walter, Richard and Robert.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today, March 25, 2013, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
