Jeffery Scott Boyd

Jeffrey Scott Boyd, born May 27th 1983, died Saturday November 15th at the age of 31, while sleeping peacefully next to his loving fiancée. Resident of Longview, Tx Jeff is survived by his sizable family and many friends.

In his passing he leaves behind his love, Jessica Meadows, son Carter Boyd, step-sons Daylen and Gavin Meadows, his sister Courtney Boyd, brother Dylan Steller, sister-in-law Jessi Steller, his mother Montina Boyd Steller, his father Mike Steller, maternal grandparents Wilma and Garland Boyd, paternal grandmother Pearl Steller, uncles Steve Boyd and Morgan Scott, cousins (that were more like brothers and sisters) Brandi Posey, Meagan Boyd, Mathew Boyd and countless other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Though his life was cut short, the time Jeff did have was packed to the brim with happiness, love, and humor. He lived his life in such a way that almost every conversation he had ended in laughter.

Characterized by his extreme love for his family and friends, and the pride he took in his son Carter, and being the best daddy he could be. Jeff had the type of unique humor that made it impossible not to smile. He caused many tears of laughter during his life, and many tears of sorrow in his passing. He will be dearly missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him.

Services for Jeffrey will be held at Lakeview Chapel on Wednesday November 19th at 4:00pm with family visitation to follow.
