Jodie W Howell

Jodie was raised in Longview, Texas and graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1967. He joined the military and served as an SP4 in Vietnam from 1969-1975. He married Linda Shafer in 1972 and the couple had 1 child. He was a machinist an security guard at E&S Machinery/Noble Security.

In his spare time, Jodie enjoyed his German Shepard Spartan, in his younger years he liked going to the lake, fishing and skiing. He loved God and loved reading the Bible. His friends and family will always remember him as a stubborn, strong-willed, generous man who would give the shirt off his back, and a very loving person.

Jodie is preceded in death by: parents, Shelby and Katherine Howell; grandparents, George and Lois Jenkins, and William V. and Willie Myrtle Howell; brother, James Robert (Jim Bob); niece, Cheryl Howell.

He is survived by: daughter, Angela Dawn Hubbard and husband Louis R. Hubbard; brothers, Don Howell and wife Kathy Howell, and Gary Howell; grandchildren, Whitney Rene, Louis (Louie) Aaron, and Kyle Matthew Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Bryson Aaron and Elias John Hubbard; several nieces and nephews.
