Mr. Mack Turner, 65, born February 17, 1945, in Lindale, Texas, to Lonnie and Jimmie Hammond Turner, passed from this life into the arms of his savior, on December 20, 2010, in Jefferson, Texas. Mack was a landman by profession, but loved to fish, hunt, and trade. He was an excellent singer and musician and loved performing on stage as well as singing with his family.
Mack is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Karen Turner; sister, Jenny Turner; and brother, Donnie Turner. He is survived by his daughter, Terri Billingsley and husband Kent, and their son, Turner Billingsley; son, Darren Turner and his son, Karson Turner; sisters, Pat Diamond; Nancy McFerrin; Robin Stanley; and Tammy West.
The family will receive guests from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m., Monday, December 27, 2010 at the funeral home, the Rev. Ronnie Starr officiating. Entombment will follow the services in the Memory Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
