Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Kristi Elaine McPherson, 43, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020. Kristi was born October 8, 1976 in Longview, Texas to Jerry Jackson and Shirley Buchanan Jackson. In 1995, she married the love of her life, Scott and together they built a life of doing the simple things they enjoyed. Kristi loved her animals, camping, and anything outdoors. She was just a “good old fashioned country girl” and of course had plenty of boots to prove it with her “Muck” water boots being her favorite. More than anything though, Kristi loved her family and especially her grandbabies. She will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved her.
Kristi was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ebo Buchanan.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Scott McPherson; children, Brannon McPherson, Harley Sierra McPherson, and Trevor McPherson; grandchildren, Tinsley Allen and Alannah Allen; her parents, Jerry and Shirley Jackson; grandmother, Dorothy Buchanan; brothers, Terry Jackson and Shawn Jackson; sisters, Sheri Grant and Kara Jackson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved her deeply.
