Funeral services for Maria Guadalupe Romero, 92 of Longview, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum Chapel. Mrs. Romero was born September 4, 1921, in Mexico and passed away October 17, 2013, in Longview, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Celerino and Claudia Espinoza, and her husband, Pablo G. Romero. Mrs. Romero leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Marcelino Romero; Francisco Romero and wife Mariana; Josefina R. Solis and husband Hilario; Ismael Romero; Otonie L Romero and wife Corina; Fernando Romero; Efrain Romero; and Elfego Romero and wife Catalina; as well as numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Lakeview Funeral Home with a rosary being held from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.
