Robert William Kale, 69, of Livingston, TX passed away August 20, 2018. He was born January 9, 1949 in Longview to George and Daisy Kale. Robert went to school at Pine Tree and was very proud to have graduated, class of 1968. Not long after graduating, he went to work for ExxonMobil and retired on September 1, 2015 after 42 ½ years. Robert never took a sick day. Robert loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, he could often be found cheering them on at their events. He also enjoyed fishing and everything Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his sons: Todd Kale and his wife Michelle of Liberty, TX, and Tony Kale of Vidor, TX; grandchildren: Sydni, Charlie, Briley, Mattie, Callie, Hunter, and Alexander; brothers: George Kale and his wife Sharon of Longview, and David Kale and his wife Pam of Longview; sisters: Margaret Dunn and her husband Gene of Gilmer, and Violet Payne and her husband Larry of White Oak; and his dog, Romo, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Ronnie Kale.
A time of visitation with Robert’s family will be on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 4 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Ricks officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
