Sheron Wise

She was born on November 10, 1943 in Ruston, Louisiana to James Lavon Cooper and Cecile Elouise Patton. Sheron was raised in East Texas (Sabine, White Oak, Leverett's Chapel) and graduated from Leverett's Chapel. She married Dale Eugene Wise on February 27, 1963 and the couple had 2 children.

She was a cosmetologist and a floral designer. In her spare time, Sheron enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, and antiques. Sheron had a love for nature and flowers, landscaping her yard, and beautifying her home. She had a natural talent and could create beautiful things from the simplest items. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who loved creating a welcoming home for friends and family. Her family and friends will always remember her as someone with an eye for beauty, able to transform everyday things into something special and who devoted time and care to creating beauty in her surroundings.

Sheron is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Dale Wise, her mother Elouise Patton Cooper, and her father James L. Cooper.

A visitation for Sheron will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at External Service Location, 5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604.
