Tommy Boo Joe Hester

Tommy “Boo” Hester, 45, of Gladewater passed away on July 19, 2013 at a local hospital. Boo as he was loving known as, was born on January 12, 1968 in Longview, Texas to Jody and Marie Hester. He was a member of Pine Tree High School’s class of 1986. He was a truck driver for Westfield services. He married Celi Bothwell on October 7, 2005 in Longview. Boo loved to play pool, enjoyed classic and muscle cars, music and being with his kids. He also enjoyed cooking, especially grilling and was known for his “Boo’s Ribs”.

He is survived by his wife Celi of Gladewater; daughter: Toni Cornwell of Killeen; son: Steven Tyler DeRouen of Gladewater; twins: Emmie and Riggs Hester of Gladewater; brother: Terry Wayne Hester and his wife Onna of Gladewater: sister: Tina Strickland and her husband Allan of Longview; parents: Jody and Marie Hester of Gladewater; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Dick and Pat Bothwell of Longview; brother-in-law: Dicky Bothwell and his wife Amber Craig of Longview; his kitty: Fezz; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents.

A visitation will be held for his friends and family from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Lakeview Funeral Home.
