Agnes Veronica Cahill

Agnes Veronica Cahill entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2016 at Los Angeles, CA. She was 91 years old. The daughter of Frederick J. Cassidy and Annie Agnes (O'Connell), Agnes was born on November 26, 1924 in Manhattan, NY. A devout Roman Catholic, she was most recently a member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, CA.

Agnes was known for her giving spirit, genuine empathy and quiet sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Her greatest joy being that of mother, Agnes is survived by her six daughters, Mary Elizabeth Cahill of Boca Raton, FL, Kathleen Agnes Van Anglen (and husband William) of Bedford, NH, Madelyn Rose Twyman (and husband Cary) of Lexington, KY, Margaret "Mugs" Marie Cahill (and partner Deidra Dwyer) of Santa Monica, CA, Anne Teresa Cahill of Greenville, SC, and Christine Ellen Cubias (and husband Carlos) of Coral Gables, FL; two sons, Thomas Joseph Cahill, Jr. (and wife Cindy) of Louisville, KY, and Patrick Connell Cahill (and wife Laurie) of South Elgin, IL; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Cahill, Sr. in 2000 and her son Peter Keenan Cahill in 2015.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Nazareth House, Los Angeles where Agnes resided upon her death. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, South Carolina.
