Dr. Clemens W. Stoeckle, who preferred being called “Bill” or “Dr. Bill” died at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital at 5:24 AM on Monday, June 25, 2012 from esophageal cancer. A native of Los Angeles, he graduated from Hamilton High School and USC Dental School. He was a practicing dentist for over 31 years and had his office in Westchester. He was drafted to the Army during the Korean War and served in Germany. He is survived by his wife Frances, daughter Lisa Hagmaier, granddaughter Victoria, son –in-law Ed Hagmaier, step son Ravi Sharma, daughter-in-law Jo-An Sharma, sister Barbara Reading of Littleton, Colorado, nephew Scott Reading, niece Terri Huismann, grandniece Toni Huismann and grand nephew Kirk Huismann. Bill was known for his helpfulness and kindness to those he felt were in need. He was generous of heart and spirit and did not hesitate to come to the aid of neighbors, friends or strangers. He will be remembered as being “a kind, helpful and caring” person and will be sorely missed.
