Gail Ann Gardner

Decemer 14, 1947 – August 31, 2024

Gail Ann Gardner, age 76, of Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles passed away Saturday morning at Cedars Sinai Hospital. Gail was predeceased by her husband Bob. Gail is survived by her three children, Marilyn (Dave), Kimberly (Garry), Robert (Erin), her mother Anita, her sister Eileen (Wayne) and Willy the Cockatiel who serenaded her every morning with his love songs. Also, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. Gail and her husband Bob worked together and created a successful Photography business Gardner Studios, starting in NYC in the 1970’s and relocating to LA in the early 1980’s.

Gail was loved by everyone who had the good fortune of meeting her. Her openness, kindness and generosity led to many wonderful relationships throughout her life and with that has friends all over the world. As a lifelong friend, if you found yourself back in LA Gail would welcome you back home to her kitchen island and the laughs and memories would continue for hours. Gail was very sweet, kind and loving to all she met, never a harsh word, she inspired all of us by her amazing qualities and her love for life. Gail fought for two years hoping for a miracle, in spite of the pain and difficulties her fight continued to the very end unfortunately, finally succumbing to her illness.

We will never get over the loss of our mom, our friend, our inspiration, she made us better people just by knowing her. Her passing will leave a void in our hearts but the memory of her will remain forever. May you rest in peace mom. We love you.
