Dear Andrea and Matilda,

I am shocked and saddened by Lukas' sudden passing. I was very fortunate to work with him for a number of years and I will always remember him ... The Ironman with a big heart and a good sense of humor. He was a great person, strong leader, and a wonderful friend. I am thankful for his guidance and support. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. My deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Lukas!

I still can’t believe what happened.  You were such an awesome coworker and friend.  Your Ironman adventures inspired me to want to pursue that.  I will forever cherish the happy times we had at WMG.  Our team was amazing.  It has been over 10 years and I still remember it all like it was yesterday.  From our team Happy Hour to the birth of your daughter.  I remembered you brought her to the office and she was so tiny.  You asked me if I want to hold her.  I was so afraid to.  :)  You always told me about your Ironman at Lake Placid and that has stuck in my head and I vouch to myself to check it out myself and you’re right.  That place is amazingly beautiful.  I can see why that Ironman is one of your favorite.   I am so sorry we never kept in touch after the first WMG fall out.  You always think there is a tomorrow until there isn’t and I am so sad we never catch up on life.  You will be so missed greatly.  I am so honor to have known you and got to work beside you at WMG.

Dear Andrea, Matilda and Family,

My deepest condolence!  My heart breaks for you.  There are no words.  He’s an amazing human at work, I have no doubt he’s an awesome husband, father, son, uncle, nephew to all.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I want to say to Andrea, Matilda and your family, I am so sorry for your loss. Lukas, I enjoyed all my time around you and am lucky for it. You were a great carpool buddy during the flying bagel incident, eating, drinking, laughing together, new foods, biking, swimming and sometimes running with you.  Learning new words and the culture of your home. I was lucky to call you a friend between Oklahoma and Dallas.You were always fun and jovial. Welcoming new kids into the Slovakian family was always a great event with you.  I won’t forget our laughs and learning together.   Love ya buddy,  Bobby Chitwood

To the family of Lucas, please accept my sincere condolences.   Lukas and I were on the same viaLink development team in Oklahoma whenever he first came to the US.. Lukas was always confident, joyful, great sense of humor and loved the outdoors.  He was always running, swimming, wind surfing or biking.. He brought a smile to every occasion and I will always consider him as a friend and colleague.  I feel so lucky that I got to know him.
