

Born in Columbus, Ohio she was the daughter of Ada Lorraine Dildine and Jesse Pearl Smalley and lived most of her life in central Ohio ; Columbus , Plain City , Marysville, London and Grove City . She had moved to Los Angeles, California in 2018 to live near her son.
She was retired from General Motors Fisher Body plant and First Link , where she took calls to help those in need ,first as a volunteer and then as a longtime employee.
She was a precious sister to 3 brothers; baby Jimmy , who died young, John and Skip and 4 sisters Ruth, Phyllis, Dolores, and Joann. She lived many years next to Joann and they shared a special sister friendship. All of her siblings preceded her in death.
She was a blessed mother to 3 children; sweet daughter Sharon and smart son Jerry , both who preceded her in death , and her fortunate son Tim who had the pleasure to spend her final years with her!
She is survived by and was very fond of step daughter Janet and her husband Bruce Harmon of Wilmington,Ohio who were always generous and caring to her.
She is also survived by stepson Fred Dixon who came to see her in California and she was very happy to have him visit.
She was special aunt and great aunt to many - some she had happily reconnected with in the past few years ; Karen and Bob Pickenpaugh and family, Donna Sherlock and her family and Tudy Williams and her family. Also surviving are very special niece Debbie Hutt and her son Hunter who were always so incredible and helpful and she thought of Debbie as a daughter. Debbie’s brother Neil sadly precedes Rosemary in death.
Rosemary loved her family and will be remembered in grace and love.
Viewing service will be held at Westwood Memorial Park , Los Angeles,California at 2:30 pm on Wednesday October 12,2022
Memorial service will be held at Schoedinger funeral home in Grove City Ohio at a later determined date.
She will be buried with family at Galloway Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
