Judy Bradley, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2023, at the age of 79 in Pismo Beach, CA. Born on December 29, 1943, in Oklahoma City, OK, Judy was the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy Baker. She was the loving sister of Marvin Baker of Mooreland, OK, and the cherished mother of Sharlene Kleine (husband Mark) of Norman, OK, Jacki Rasor of Oklahoma City, Sue Lopez (husband Ramiro) of Sacramento, CA, and Mark Bradley (wife Shannon) of Elk Grove, CA. Judy leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who referred to her lovingly as “Great.”
Judy was preceded in death by beloved husband Gene Bradley, her parents, stepfather Sherrill Longest, sister Melody Baker, brother Steve Baker, and son Rick Bradley.
Judy attended Carmen High School in Carmen, OK, where she developed her strong typing and shorthand skills. She cherished the memories made during her school years and formed lasting friendships that endured throughout her life.
In 1991, Judy met the love of her life Gene Bradley. He loved her deeply until the day he passed and made her life her own personal Hallmark movie.
Judy was a strong lady who loved to tell a good story and was known for her quick wit. Judy enjoyed various hobbies, including genealogy, golf, traveling, needle crafts, and baking. Her baked goods, especially her chocolate cake, were always a hit at gatherings. On game days, you would find her Oklahoma Sooners flag flying proudly outside her house.
Judy loved country music (the old, GOOD stuff), any show with Sam Elliot or Tom Selleck, a good romance novel, and every Hallmark movie ever made.
Judy will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
