William George Morrow, Bill to all who knew him, passed away very early morning on November 8th, 2021 with his wife Kaye by his side. Bill is survived by his wife Claudia Kaye Morrow, his oldest son Bill Morrow Jr. of Aurora, Colorado, his youngest son Gary Morrow and Gary’s wife Lynda Morrow of Mount Vernon, Texas, as well as granddaughter Chelsey and grandson Nicholas.
Born a Canadian, Bill moved to California in the late 50’s, later becoming a naturized citizen of the United States. He married his high school sweetheart, married for 62 years. Bill was a proud Air Force veteran and had a very long history in sales. Bill worked for the Gillette Company for 34 years before retiring in Nipomo, CA.
While retired, if you can call it that, Bill was incredibly active in the local Nipomo community leading discussions as well as being involved in community development and infrastructure. He was also very active in Nipomo Lions, Gyros, and chaired many organizations throughout his retirement. Bill was an avid golfer with an unrelenting goal of shooting his age. He was a passionate Seahawks “12th Man” from the inception of the franchise in 1974 until his passing. Bill loved classic cars, was a private pilot, a painter and coached many a sports team for his boys. He traveled extensively worldwide and loved RVing across the US. Most would say Bill lived his life his own way and enjoyed every minute with Kaye.
Donations can be made in his name to the Wounded Warriors Project in lieu of flowers being sent. Bill will be cremated and by his request, doing it his way, there will not be a service nor celebration of life at this time.
