Alan Dale Mattingly, 67, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was a maintenance mechanic for MSD and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and sports - especially UK sports! Alan loved music…he was in several rock bands in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. He was an all-around great guy who was loved by many.
Alan was preceded in death by his loving wife, Andrea; his father, Charles Mattingly.
Left to cherish his memory is his mom, Mary (Swenck) Mattingly; his children, Tara Crook (Hank) and Allyson Gant (Jeff); grandchildren, Kaden, Jocelyn, Chloe, Kailey, Jacob; brother, Chuck Mattingly (Barbara Greenwell); sister, Marlene Bryan (Ken); many extended family and loving friends.
The Funeral Service will be Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home-Okolona with visitation from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions in Alan’s honor should be directed to Maple Grove Baptist Church or The American Cancer Society.
