Alan Wayne Simpson

Alan Wayne Simpson 59 passed away Wednesday March 31, 2010 at Norton Suburban Hospital. He was born July 28, 1950 to the late Earl C. and Georgia Rowe Simpson. Alan has been a resident at Cedar Lake Lodge since 1977. He won several awards for swiming and diving in the Special Olympics. He was also active in bowling and performing country and western music.

The family recongnizes the excellent care that Alan received by the staff of Cedar Lake Lodge.

He is survived by his cousins and guardian; Jim & Pat Davis, and extended family of 25 cousins.

A service to celebrate Alan's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Cedar Lake Lodge, 3301 Jerrico Road, LaGrange, KY 40031, with interment to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery, at the lakeside chapel. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Friday at Cedar Lake Lodge.
