Alberta M. Downs, 84, of Louisville passed from this life on Tuesday April 16, 2013 at Georgetown Manor. She was the former Alberta Schrafroth and a member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and a son Gary Downs. She is survived by a daughter, Amy Perkins; a son, Bruce Downs; sisters, Mary Rose Back, and Martha Holliger; brother, Charles Schrafroth; and 2 grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mrs. Downs’ life will be held at 12 pm Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
