Alene June Vaught, 88, passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021. June loved to garden, read, draw, and cook – especially her chocolate cake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vola “Buddy” D. Vaught Sr; grandson, John D. Hochstrasser; parents, Price and Goldie Alene Johnson; siblings, Joseph Johnson, Paul Johnson, Donnie Johnson, and LaVerne Coates.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Nancy Stoess ; her children, Diana Brewer, David Hochstrasser (Cheryl), Dean Vaught (Mary), Darlene Yates (Billy), Dennis Vaught (Lori), Vola Dean Vaught Jr (Melanie); 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 12:00pm until 8:00pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway. The Funeral Service will be Monday, November 22, 2021 at 12:00pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home with burial following in Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, KY.
