He was an over the road driver for Teamsters Local Union 89 working for the Ford Motor Company.
Alton is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; his sisters, Patricia Lovvon and Beth (Ronald) Robertson and many extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Alton's Life will be Monday October 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation is at the funeral home on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of his funeral service.
