Andrew Louis Borcherding Sr.

He was born May 13, 1946 in Louisville, the son of the late Edward and Constance (Tucker) Borcherding.

Andrew was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He also owned and operated Andy’s Lawn Care and Landscaping for many years.

He loved his wife and family more than anything in the world. He held family values to a high standard and believed family sticks together through anything. He also enjoyed watching Perry Mason and old western movies.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Jeneth Borcherding; children, Andrew Borcherding Jr., Judell Smith, Anthony Borcherding, Sr., Cristy McGinnis, Brian Rosenbarger; one sister, Margaret Schulz; eight grandchildren, Joshua Rupiper, Brian Rupiper, Matthew Borcherding, Jenna Borcherding, Justin McGinnis, Ariel Borcherding, AJ Borcherding, Jr., Chelsey Brown; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Burial with Military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
