

Andy was born on April 25, 1970 in Louisville to his parents, Danny and Elaine Bruce Maupin.
Andy had a huge helping hand as the athletic director for 23 years at Portland Boy's and Girl's Club and Salvation Army. He also worked with the Boy's and Girl's Club of America in New Albany, IN.
As a good role model to young children, he found himself tutoring the underprivileged in math and sciences. Andy also would do presentations on safety and drug use from time to time.
Andy is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Wade Maupin; paternal grandparents, Lloyd Delbert and Nellie Jane Maupin; uncle, Baxter Eugene Bruce, Jr.; cousin, Travis Daniels; and grandmother, Mabel Hardesty,
Andy is survived by his children, Tyler Ford and Shelby Anne Maupin-Ford; parents, Danny and Elaine Maupin; sister, Lisa Olsen (Duce); brother, Seth Maupin; maternal grandparents, Gene and Imogene Bruce; nieces and nephews, Mariah Maupin, Kayla Whittemore, Trey Olsen, and Trenton Olsen; his children's mother, Christian Ford; Portland Momma Ozzie Jennings; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and all his Portland brothers and sisters.
A funeral service to honor the life of Andy will be 2pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for the public will be from 2-8pm on Monday, 10am-8pm on Tuesday, and from 10am-2pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to his children, Tyler Ford and Shelby Anne Maupin-Ford, at PNC Bank on 26th and Bank St., Louisville, KY 40212, where a memorial fund has been set up.
