Anita Gay., 71, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 15, 2013 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
Mrs. Ackerman was born on November 20, 1941 in Burnside, KY to the late Harold C. and Kathleen Dick Ross. She retired from STAT in their accounts receivable department, but her true calling was taking care of her family; she was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.
Along with her parents; her brother, Patrick Ross; and grandson, John Thomas Miller precede her in death.
Left to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband, James Ackerman; children, Kimberly B. Farmer (Bill Jr.); and Andrew T. Edmundson (Stephanie); grandchildren, William Farmer and Amanda G. Kissane (Daniel); great grandchildren, Derek and Jackson Kissane; brother, Lanny C. Ross (Sue); nephew, Anthony Ross; and so many other family and friends who loved her very much.
Private Services have been scheduled. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven has been entrusted with arrangements.
