

Anna D. Kilroy, 80, of Louisville, KY passed away on January 16, 2018. Anna was a kind, loving woman that felt so much for the world and everyone in it. Anna loved people and animals and would go out of her way to help in any way she could. Merely calling her a philanthropist wouldn’t begin to cover her passion for the good of the world. Anna had such a big heart.
Anna was a parishioner at St. Margaret Mary. She belonged to Derby City Bop Club, Mercedes Club and the Power Squadron. Anna enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, embroidery and dance. She also was an avid reader and an amazing cook.
Preceding her in death is her beloved husband, Patrick Kilroy.
Left to cherish Anna’s memory is her daughter; Dorothy Ann “Candy” Odom (Doug), son; Charles “Chuck” Rogers Jr. and step-son, Chris Kilroy. Her grandchildren; Jennifer DuBose (Gene), David Brown (Ashleigh), great-grandchildren; Anna Brooke DuBose, Nathan Brown and her son’s caregiver whom she called her daughter; Debbie McCowan.
Visitation for Anna will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2pm-8pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2pm with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park to follow, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
