She was born in Charleston, SC and moved to Louisville, KY. Annette loved to read and sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Pansy Todd; husband, James P. Blanton, Sr.
Annette is survived by her sister, Brenda T. Rakowski (Harry); children, Debra B. Hawkins, James P. Blanton, Jr. (Sandra), Carolyn D. Hart (George). Six grandchildren and Seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, located at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218.
The funeral service will follow on the same day at 2:00 pm at the same location. Burial will be private.
